Yaşadığımız toplumlarda gittikçe daha çok tartışılan bir mesele güvencesizlik. Dünya üzerinde, ekonomik ve toplumsal krizlerin de hızlandırdığı alışılagelmiş toplumsal, kültürel ve sınıfsal aidiyetlerin ve biraraya gelişlerin çözülmesi sürecinde bu kavram yeni olası birliktelikler için temel kaygıyı ele veriyor. Bu kaygı, yanlızca devlet-birey, işçi-işveren ilişkisinde değil öteki ile girilen her türlü ilişkide de geçerli. Bu mefhum hem kişisel olarak bireyin öteki karşısındaki incinebilirliğine gönderme yaparken hem de hakimler ve tabi olanlar arasındaki yeni ilişki biçimini sorunsallaştırır.

“Kaybedecek birşey yok” adlı sergi farklı biçim ve ölçeklerde yaşanan dışlama ve içleme pratikleri üzerinden kendini konumlamaya çalışıyor. Bazen gönüllü olarak tercih edilen bazen de zorunlu olarak maruz kalınan ve boyun eğilen koşulların düzleminden söz açmayı deniyor. Sergide yer alan sanatçılar ve çalışmaları da farklı karşılaşma ve biraradalık biçimlerine değinirken ortaya çıkan sorunları da tespit etmeye çalışıyor.

Burak Delier’in “Üçüncü Şehrin Müzesi” adlı işi İstanbul’un marjinlerinde yaşayan kentin göçmenleri ile yaptığı bir çalışmaya dayanıyor. Sanatçı onlardan geride bıraktıklarını tahayyül etmelerini istiyor ve bunları ürettiği desenler ile yeniden canlandırmaya girişiyor. Çalışma minör bir göç haritası olarak da okunabilir.

Caner Aslan’ın farkı türden biraya gelişleri tahayyül ve tespit eden çalışması hem toplumsal katmanlar arası yatay ilişkileri hem de dikey hiyerarşik yapıları alaycı mı yoksa sorgulayıcı mı olduğundan kesin olarak emin olamadığımız bir dille ele alıyor.

Soren Thilo Funder’in “Friedlos (aka The Bandit Wolf-Man)” adlı çalışması ise bir dışlama ritüelini kaydediyor. Kentin dışında toplanmış bir grubun geleneksel bir ritüeli andıran bu afaroz etme perfomansı, tersyüz ettiği kodlar aracılığı ile modern toplumların içleme ve dışlama pratiklerine gönderme yapıyor.

The contentious question of precarity is a problem we are urged to discuss in the societies we inhabit. In the course of the global process of the dissolution of customary societal, cultural and class-based relationships, which is also accelerated by economic and communal crisis, this concept refers to a fundamental concern for new possible forms of coexistence. This fear applies not only to the relationships between the state and the individual or between the worker and the employer but to any possible form of relationship to be established with the other. Referring, on a personal level, to the vulnerability of the individual before the other, this very notion manages to problematize new types of relationship between the ruler and the subjects.

"There Is Nothing To Lose" seeks to position itself through practices of inclusion and exclusion of different scales. It endeavors to open a discussion on the level of sometimes
voluntarily chosen and sometimes coercive conditions. Artists and works featured in the exhibition speak of different types of encounters and conventions while trying to locate problems emerging within them.

Burak Delier’s “Museum of the Third City” is based on his work with Istanbul’s immigrants inhabiting the periphery of the city. Delier urges immigrants to visualize what they have left behind and to animate it, aspiring to arrive at a minor map of immigration.

Caner Aslan’s work visualizes and determines new forms of coexistence while focusing on both horizontal and vertical relationships between societal layers, interpreting them with an ambiguous language oscillating between cynicism and questioning.

Soren Thilo Funder’s work titled “Friedlos (aka The Bandit Wolf-Man)” records a ritual of exclusion. This performance of excommunication, resembling a traditional ritual, realized by a group gathered outside the town refers to practices of exclusion and inclusion in contemporary societies via reversed codes.
